The 2006 Empire Alpaca Symposium and Fiber Event promises to be the premier educational event of the season offering something for everyone.
  • Educational Seminars
    Educational opportunities for every level of alpaca owner. Come learn about alpaca health, marketing, the commercial fiber industry, and more.
     
  • Fleece and Fiber Competitions
    The Fleece show will be Judged by Ruth Elvestad of Alberta, Canada and the Fiber Arts and Skein will be judged by Wini Labrecque of Pennsylvania.
     
  • Hands-on Workshops
    At the start of the event on Friday, explore the fiber arts first hand from top fiber artisans.
Arrive in time for Friday's workshops, or come Friday evening in time for our friendly Friday evening Meet and Greet. Saturday morning will begin bright and early with breakfast, followed by the beginning of our Educational Seminars, Fleece Show, and Fiber Arts and Skein Competition.

This premiere event will be held at the exciting Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York, just a short drive from Syracuse's Hancock International Airport. We hope to see you there!
