Alpaca Breeders Enjoy A Little Chaos

Rochester, New York
ALPACA Press

Local alpaca farmers have reported that adding a little chaos to their herd was just what they were looking for. Chaos, a Peruvian Best 'Ala Best son and Caligula grandson has all the makings of a champion and he has proved it time and time again. With his outstanding  show record, you'd think this young male would be satisfied. Instead of resting on his laurels, Chaos has gone on to prove himself as a consistent breeder of quality cria. Chaos' cria have been females 78% of the time and he has allowed the dam's color to pass to his cria an amazing 89% of the time. In addition he has passed his fiber characteristics on to his cria and improved the fleece of every one of the dams to which he has been bred.

It is newsworthy to note that Chaos' stud fee has been reduced for this breeding season while comparable herdsire breeding fees have been on the climb.

Lazy Acre's Other Herdsires Are Subjects of Investigation

An all points bulletin has been issued for Lazy Sugar Daddy. This young herdsire is looking to become a sire. This Fawn El Cid son can be identified by his full fleece coverage and handsome top knot. Be on the lookout for Sugar Daddy. Your cria will thank you for it.

RV Sergeant Pepper has been purported to be a beautiful rose grey herdsire who will begin leaving his mark on the alpaca community this year. Breeders are seeking him for his beautiful head and outstanding presence. If you see Sgt. Pepper, be very cautious. He's been known to take your breath away.
