Speculation is a beautiful white female with all of the phenotypic characteristics you could hope for. If you know alpaca pedigrees, you’ll understand why she is as spectacular as she is.

Speculation's  Grand Sire:
Peruvian Hemingway is well known to produce fine, elite fleeces in his offspring.

Speculation's Grand Dam:
He was bred to Macarena, THE number one producing female at Heart's Desire Farm. They believe that she is that good and that consistent. It is a matter of record that every one of her sons is a herdsire and every one of her daughters is a definite keeper foundation female. Now that is what you call progeny testing.

Speculation's Sire:
The result of Hemingway and Macarena is Predictor. Predictor himself is so special that Heart's Desire does not offer outside breedings to him. He produces bundling, fine, crimpy fleeces in his offspring, and Speculation is no exception. Predictor’s histogram at age 2 was 15.7 MC, 2.9 SD, 18.5 CV, %>30 0.3. Last year his shear weight was 14.5 pounds!

Speculation's Dam:
Predictor was bred to Ppperuvian Vitality, who came into the US in the much lauded 3rd Peruvian import. Vitality has produced champions as well, including Our Peruvian Amadeus. Vitality bred to Predictor gave us Speculation.

As a daughter of NWA LTD Predictor, she is a granddaughter of both Peruvian Macarena and Peruvian Hemingway. Since NO outside breedings to Predictor are for sale, here is a rare chance to get a spectacular, one-of-a-kind Predictor daughter. We could tell you how lustrous and fine her fleece is but we prefer you to look at her and be convinced for yourself.

 

This young maiden is a cutting edge genetic package. The only reason we would even consider selling such a great female is because this is Sixth Day Farm’s first consignment to an alpaca auction and we want to put our best foot forward.
